The CASTRON speaker stand had pursued the sound stereognostic sense and its realness by defining the three-point support. While being a rigid type stand, it is tuned to give a sound stage that is openly fresh. CASTRON Speaker Stand, the speaker stand that brings out the true capability of a speaker.
Ductile cast iron, boasting a 5600 m/second sound transmission speed is used for the top board and base. Because the vibration generated by the speaker is released at a speed faster than the speed of sound, the sound taints or delays are not generated. Besides CASTRON speakers, it can also demonstrate the actual performance of any speakers satisfactorily.
The 3-point protrusions that support the speaker system is semi-hemispheric, and made for limitless point support. Different from stands that support the surface, this minimized the enclosure vibration transmission.
The inside of the steel support post is filled with Hokkaido’s olivine sand. The submicron particle olivine sand is excellent for vibration absorption capability, and because it neutralize the vibration coming from the speaker or the floor, a clear, clean sound is obtained.
The feet that support the base are wobble adjusters. Besides functioning as height and angle adjusters, they allow a precise mounting to fit the condition of the floor surface.
